Label Head Dave Basek has just had two tunes picked up for release on Australian Label www.longdistancerecordings.com.
LDR is a fresh new label with a forward thinking attitude, leaning towards the tech, minimal and progressive sound. LDR has a distinctly global flavour; featuring collaborations from European and Australian DJs and producers; including Berlin's Namito, Chopstick and Johnjon (as Fanclub), London's Jaytech, Sydney's Mark Dynamix (as MDX), , Sydney's Matt Nugent.... alongside remixes from Deepchild, Ryan Riback, Bass Kleph and more...
Dave's tunes "First Rain" and "Tokyo" are due for release in August.

Junkbeats artist - Ed function http://www.myspace.com/edfunction - will hit the air waves with his new single “Nextcentmentmotion” next month. This release will include remixes from Sydneysider Adam Jace http://www.myspace.com/adamjace who has been picked up by Germanys Plastic City Records http://www.plasticcity.de and was a favourite with the ‘Child of deepness’ (Deepchild) ‘Sunset’ radio show on FBI.fm radio http://www.fbi.org.au . Other remixes for the ep may be a sneaky collaboration by ‘Bas/Is’ a duo known OS and about to break here in Australia.
